RADIATION - THE 3D ADVENTURE GAME DOCS
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Scenario (Continued)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Approximately thirty minutes after the reactor was switched on, one of the
reactor warning lamps lit up. The warning indicated there was a shortage of
reactor coolant fluid in the core, so the reactor control rods were engaged.
The problem disappeared, so the control rods were disengaged, and it seemed
that the problem has vanished completely. At this time you were being given
a guided tour of the power station complex, when suddenly, without warning,
a violent explosion shook the building, almost to its foundations. The force
of the explosion knocked you to the ground, hitting your head, which renderd
you unconscious. When you finally came to you realised that you were alone
in a room somewhere in the power station, and much to your horror it quickly
became apparent that there had been a meltdown of the reactor core, and that
everyone else who was in the complex at the time had been evacuated.
Your mission is to find your way safely to the reactor core, and remove all
traces of damaged nuclear fuel rod, and transfer them to the emergency fuel
rod storage facility located in the building. Once you have completed your
task, you must evacuate from the power station before the entire complex is
overcome with radiation levels that are so intense, that even a radiation
proof suit will not be capable of protecting you.
